SF New Tech makes news in the The Wall Street Journal for making way for a baseball game!

When we realized early Tuesday morning after the SF Giants won the pennant and were heading to the World Series here in SF on Wednesday night, on the eve of a long-scheduled SF New Tech event, we had to make a quick and harsh decision: Do we keep the course and compete with the Giants or do we cede to the hometown team and cancel our event altogether?Continue Reading

For the first time in 5 1/2 years of throwing the shin-dig known as SF New Tech, we’ve had to cancel an event.

Please scratch our “Sex ‘n Tech” event, originally scheduled for August 3rd, off your calendar.

We will be refunding all those who had already purchased tickets.

The reason is simple: it’s our job to provide you with quality content … and after a few demos for 8/3 cancelled at the last minute, we didn’t feel confident enough to scurry to find the right alternates and go on with the show. Our intention now is to reschedule this event in the near future. Sorry if you made plans to join us.
