Widgets up the Wazoo. The day after.

August 7th, 2008 by Myles Weissleder

Wow!  Widgets up the Wazoo was AWESOME last night.   It was literally standing room only and the demos were world class.    Thanks to all who joined us .. and big thanks to Lawrence Coburn for his moderating prowess.

Those who attended the event were asked to send in their feedback.   If you’re interested in seeing what they thought of the: Event, Host, Moderator, Venue … and what Demo they thought was the best, check out the ratings here.  The password is "wazoo".

Some more post-event notes:

1) 60 Second Spots are posted!  Password is also "wazoo".    Note, for some wack reason only two people are listed there.  Not sure if there was a bug in the form or if only two folks took advantage of it.  If you gave a 60-second spot and are not listed here you can hit the form now and you’ll be added. Just visit the form here.   (If you didn’t give a 60 second spot but would like to post a need/want/desire you can go ahead and post it now.  No worries!

2) For our September 4th event, we’ll be working with the SanFran MusicTech Summit to showcase some of the greatest tech plays in the music space. Working on something we should be aware of?  Hit this now:  http://www.sfnewtech.com/demo

3) Smile!  You’re famous!  See photos from last night here.
Got any of your own?  Tag ‘em "sfnt" on Flickr and they’ show up in the sidebar!

4) I’m off on a biz trip tomorrow but I’ll try to post video from the event before I split.

5) And finally, if you want to hang with a bunch of geeks, the SF New Tech Belly Up (to the bar) happy hour is on Wednesday, August 13th @ the Mars Bar.  Details @ http://augustbellyup-blog.eventbrite.com/
