1) Our Geo-Loco Smackdown Rocked!

2) The Big Summer Social!
A lot of folks have been asking me about our forthcoming "Summer Social". Here’s the scoop:  On Friday, July 23 from 4-9 pm, 150+ technology executives will gather at the private estate of Stonebrook Court (check it out: http://bit.ly/sHr0f) in Los Altos Hills, CA to celebrate summer over cold beer, tasty munchies, and bold new tech in typical SF New Tech-style.  We will begin inviting Founders and CEOs in the coming days and then will open up registration to others if/when space allows.  As much as we’d like to invite everyone, we can’t.  Sorry. 3) Next SF New Tech: July 20 – Save the Date!
The next SF New Tech at Mighty will be on Tuesday, July 20th.  Note, it’s on a TUESDAY, not Wednesday.  Details coming soon! 

4) Call for Designers!
We need a designer to help us with, um, some design work.  Specifically for our forthcoming Summer Social at Stonebrook Court. I could enlist 99designs.com but thought to throw it out to our community here first. Designers, send me a well-thought-out treatment (pdf or jpg) of a design element that captures (creates!) the essence of our Summer Social at Stonebrook  and if we dig it, you and a colleague will get into a year of SF New Tech events for free.  If we end up choosing your design, we’ll get you into the big bash too.  We’re looking for an image like http://bit.ly/bQM9Xe but more "summery" and, um, social.   We’ll use it on the event registration page and on event collateral, etc.  Any takers? (Deadline is Wednesday 6/30)

5) Call for Writers!
Calling all bloggers and excessive tweeters.  As part of our relaunch of sfnewtech.com in the coming weeks, we’ll be integrating more and more commentary from our community.  If you’re interested in writing event recaps, reviews, interviews, opinion pieces, or god forbid, "news" … we can get you published and in front of people who will want to read your words.   Interested pontificators are invited to drop me a well-written note with a link to their recent work for consideration!

6) Call for Sponsors! 
As you know, SF New Tech is the largest regular tech event in SF.  And we’re not too proud to beg.
